On the CVO RGU's, these do come with Part number 76000228. So here's a few of the things that I've found - if any of this isn't right, please lemme know. My question is, if I remove the Boom! amp, and use an aftermarket amp off of the line-level signal coming from the HU, what functionality will I lose other than just the front/rear fader controls? Will I also lose the auto volume control? Just wondering what the risks are with yanking that Boom! amp outta there and using an aftermarket amp that's got a cleaner, non-compressed sound? I'm attaching a picture of the schematic below. So, looking at the schematic for my bike, the radio only has two-channel output into the amplifier - which is where the signal is processed into four-channels by the amp via the two CAN-high and CAN-low wires going into both the amp and 6.5" GT head unit.
